Next Gen

We have 2 Next Gen sessions, at no additional cost, to equip our emerging leaders (4:00 PM Thursday & 4:00 PM Friday). The Next Generation of Leaders are within the rough age of 18-40, who want to live for the purposes of God in our generation, and partner with many others who want to do the same. If you want to grow in your giftings and calling, then this is for you. We have leaders who want to invest in you and into God's calling on your life.

We are in a season of transition as a movement. This isn't about one or two people, but about us growing together in unity as a genuine apostolic family. In part, it's about spiritual mothers and fathers sharing and imparting vision, values, wisdom, and experience with sons and daughters. It is also about those sons and daughters carrying weight and responsibility in their own right in our family as we move forward.

Our Breakouts

  • Fathering Leaders — John Evans

We all agree on the need to raise up Next Gen leaders but how do we do it? In this practical track we'll be looking at the essential actions we can take to raise up and release future leaders.

  • How And Why We Worship – Jon Meek

How And Why We Worship – Jon Meek

"Show me the songs your church sings and I'll show you what they really believe." It's a bold statement, and one that points us toward the importance of a solid foundation underpinning the worship of every local church. The bedrock foundation of 'Christ alone,' is our starting place, and then we begin to build from there. Why do we celebrate? Why do we sing? Every church will have its own flavor, and that flavor is enhanced with a solid foundation of the Scriptures.

    Breakout 1 Auditorium

  • Regions Beyond...Where Are We Going – Steve Oliver

Where is Regions Beyond going from here? Steve Oliver shares vision for the future.

    Breakout 1 Studio A

  • Bridging the Gap – Jeremy Miller

How to reach young people where they are and help them overcome the barriers that keep them from showing up.

    Breakout 2 Foyer 2

  • Becoming A Leader Who Worships

Becoming A Leader Who Worships – Jon Meek and Danny Lee

This is geared for everyone who leads or desires to lead other people in worship. We'll tackle four key areas: the character of an all-week-long worshiper, practicals of leading worship publicly, leading your church in worship versus leading a set of songs, and how to lead and prepare your own heart.

  • How to Shepherd the Flock – Josh Yakos

Matthew 9:37 Jesus tells us there is not a harvest problem... but a laboreror shortage. If we are going to advance our churches we need strong (and more) leaders.  In fact what stirred Jesus was he saw they didn't have shepherds. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. We will look at how to answer the problem of the labor shortage and how to raise shepherds after God's own heart.
